4th Judicial District Judge Samelson graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1973 and the University of Denver College of Law in 1977. He served on active duty in the Air Force until 1984 and in the Air Force reserves until he retired in 1995. Prior to being appointed to the District Court in 2000, Judge Samelson was in private practice. In 2001 he was appointed to be the additional water judge for Water Division No. 2. Judge Samelson has been active in the Air Force Academy Association of Graduates and has been a professor at the Air Force Academy and Colorado College. |
