Martin L. Plassmeyer Marty was raised on a family farm in Missouri. He graduated from West Point in 1959 and served on active duty in the Army until 1987. He received his law degree from the University of Arizona in 1990. He has been in private practice in Colorado Springs since being admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1991. His practice emphasizes service as the Guardian ad Litem representing the interests of children in Dissolution of Marriage and Dependency and Neglect cases. His practice also includes estate planning and probate, representation of incapacitated persons and service as the Guardian ad Litem in incapacitation cases, representation of parents in Dependency and Neglect cases and representation of parties in Dissolution of Marriage cases. He coached Babe Ruth League baseball while in law school and during the first eight years of his law practice and served as the treasurer of the El Paso County Bar Association from 1998 to 2000. He is married and has five children. |
